1.1. Android Version Required to Operate OHP

The Open Home Pro® application for Android operates on Android OS Versions 5.0 and above. 

1. Select "Settings" and tap "About" on the menu.

2. Look at where it says "Android Version". If the version listed is under 5.0, tap "System Update" to check if you can upgrade.

 

1.2. Downloading Open Home Pro®

You can download Open Home Pro® from the iTunes App Store or via the Google Play Store

1.3. Downloading Open Home Pro® onto multiple devices

You can download the Open Home Pro® app onto multiple devices, as long as you have the same Apple ID or Google Play ID for each.

For iPad

If you do have the same Apple ID , follow the quick steps below:

  1. Launch the “App Store” app from your home screen
  2. Tap “Updates”
  3. Click the “Purchased” icon at the bottom menu. You’ll see a small icon of with an arrow pointing down next to Open Home Pro™ (and all other apps you’ve previously installed). Click that icon and it will begin installing on your iPad.

For Android

You can download Open Home Pro® across any of your Android devices. Simply visit the Google Play Store and search for Open Home Pro® and download or click here.

1.4. Systems that run Open Home Pro®

Open Home Pro® is currently available only for Apple iOS for iPad® and Android™ tablets (running Android 4.2 and higher). The most recent version of the app for iPad requires iOS 12 or later.

Amazon Kindle tablets are not supported and the application was not developed for use on mobile phones, laptops, or Surface tablets. 

How to download the app

To create an account and and collect leads using Open Home Pro, you must download the app on your tablet device first.

Once you have an account, you can also login at www.openhomepro.com to create listings, upload photos, manage emails and your profile. Keep in mind, you cannot collect visitor leads on the website.

1.5. Necessary Data Connection needed when using Open Home Pro®

The Open Home Pro® app uses a 3G, 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi data connection to sync your leads, listings, and settings to the Open Home Pro app. But what happens when you're at an open house and the property doesn't have an adequate signal?

Luckily, Open Home Pro® is designed to work seamlessly when you're offline. All of the leads you collect are stored on your device until the next time you sync. If you have a data connection during your open, syncing happens automatically after each lead is collected. If you're offline, you should manually sync after you're back in an area with a data connection.

We recommend making sure you are logged into the app before you leave for an open house. We also recommend manually syncing with the Open Home Pro® app - even if you had a connection during the open - immediately after every open house. This ensures the following:

  • All your leads will available to manage on the Open Home Pro® web site.
  • Your automated follow-up emails will be sent to your leads in a timely manner.
  • All of your own email reports, such as the Hot Leads Report and Visit Report, will be complete, accurate, and on-time.

How To Sync

1.6. How to Change Your Account Settings

There are two ways to do this: one can be done through the app and the other is through the website. Make sure to browse through the correct section.

APP

Sign into your account. Tap on "Settings" and select "Account Settings". From here you can see different sections specific to updating your Profile, uploading a picture, updating your profile URL, and changing your password.

On "Your Profile", enter your Full Name, Phone number, Email address, and a brief Biography. Tap on "Update your profile" to save the changes.

On "Your Photo", tap on "Choose Photo" then locate the image from your device. We recommend a photo with a 1:1 ratio. Tap "Save Photo" to save the changes.

On your "Profile Link", enter a username that you want to display on your link. Tap on "Update Profile URL" to save the changes.

On "Change Password", enter your desired password and tap "Change your password" to save the changes. 

WEBSITE

Go to https://www.openhomepro.com/ and log in to your account. On the upper right corner, click on "Settings" then click "Account."

Here, you can update the following information:

1. General Settings - Name, Phone, Email, and Biography(limited to 160 characters only). Click "Update your Settings" to save the changes.

2. Change Password - Enter a strong and unique password then click on "Change Your Password" to save the changes.

3. Your Profile - This is where your clients can visit your public Open Home Pro profile and view your listings. Enter a Username and click on "Update Your Profile" to save the changes.

4. Profile Photo - click on "Choose a Photo" and locate the image from your device. Click on "Save Photo" to save the changes.
